Aesnops Fabled Power Rankings: Mobile / Vacation edition.
Week 1
Overall this week had a lot of solid close matchups. We start to see some trends within teams, especially when it comes to singles vs doubles and stolen bases. We also saw a lot of home teams come up big this week in what might be a season long trend. With some really good teams losing on the road, I don’t want to overreact too much to week 1, without further to do:
- Brewers. +8 Differential
The Brewers were able to fight off another preseason favorite Red Sox team in a grueling match. Whoever won that game was going to be number 1 on this list barring some huge monumental victory.
2) White Sox. +19 differential
I’m a simple man, I see +19, I place you number 2 without overthinking things.
3) Pirates. +11 differential
Originally, this was gonna be Ellmans Indians. Unfortunately for Ellman, I’ve already played Yurya’s team. Thus, I’m snubbing Ellman this week from the top 5. Hopefully this will fire him up a bit. Schlim did what he needed to do and put up monster numbers doing it.
4) Mariners. +14 differential
Why 4th when they beat statistically the second best offensive team of the week? I believe they got lucky. I don’t think it lasts. I’m not going to overrate them. The steals were nice, though.
5) Red Sox. -8 differential
Don’t deserve to drop for losing respectably to the number one team. This is still a scary team that belongs here unless they lose again in the next few weeks.
Just missed: Indians, Giants (scary team), Wombats, Twins, Hornets.
MVP race will start when I’m not on vacation. Just know Naga = Russell Westbrook and the Giants = the Warriors when it comes to MVP.
